Lawyer Ju Cunxu graduated from Law School of Renmin University of China and obtained a master’s degree. Ju Cunxu is now the director and chief partner of Qiankun Law Firm. In 1993, Ju worked for Hampton Winter & Glynn in Hong Kong. Lawyer Ju has worked as a lawyer for more than 30 years and awarded “Top 10 Lawyers” in Beijing, the Second “Outstanding Builder of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” in Beijing, “Outstanding Lawyer in Beijing” and “Advanced United Front Individual with Outstanding Contributions to the Construction of the Capital”. Ju served as a legal adviser for hundreds of units including Fortune 500, national ministries and commissions and international institutions; acted as an agent to handle several hundred cases related to civil and commercial litigation, administrative litigation or arbitrations; acted as an agent to handle new artemisinin technology infringement of Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The status of Professor Tu Youyou as the inventor of new artemisinin technology was confirmed in law, which cleared the legal obstacles for Tu Youyou to win the Nobel Prize.
